Corgicade is an arcade machine constructed by a class of Chapman students, composed of the following teams: 3D modeling, project management, art/lighting, fabrication, electronics, and microcontrollers. The cabinet is built to run a wide variety of games, including those made by Chapman students. The cabinet was built over the course of the spring 2024 semester and is currently available for use at Chapman University. Below are progress and completed photos of the cabinet.
Personal Contributions
- Member of the Art & Lighting Team
- Reported weekly updates with the class, communicated dependency constraints across teams, and updated progress through Slack and Trello board
- Created designs in Adobe Illustrator for all engraved art (control panel clear acrylic, credits panel, QR codes)
- Used laser cutters to make all engraved art a reality!
- Provided support and a helping hand for all teams whenever needed
