Otterly Delightful is a 2D animal café simulator made in Unity with C#, where players must memorize food orders from customers and complete orders in the kitchen before time runs out. Customers and orders are randomized with each spawn. If the player can make $100 in profits before upsetting three customers, the player wins! Otterly Delightful was a four person project completed in a 2-week span in fall 2023. Pictured below are progress photos, final art, and a demo video.
Personal Contributions
- Delegated work between team members to encourage involvement, tailoring tasks to group member skills as multiple group members had little or no experience with programming
- Coordinated meeting times and deliverable deadlines, maximizing collaboration and ensuring members all felt they had support in their work
- Programmed the functionality of random order and customer generation, order fulfillment, and scorekeeping
- Drew 2D art: characters, backgrounds, food
- Optimized pipeline for integrating art from Procreate into the Unity project and UI
